Leo Black

Away from football, he enjoys playing table tennis.

Leo made three league appearances for our Under-18s while still a schoolboy in 2021/22 before going full-time as a scholar in July, 2022.

A central midfielder but also capable of playing as an inverted right-back, Leo helped us win the Under-17 Premier League Cup in 2022/23 before becoming a regular starter during his second year as a full-time Under-18s player in 2023/24.

Occasionally captaining the side, he signed his first professional contract in March, 2024, and earned his first England youth call-up later that month, joining up with the Under-18s. He's since been capped at Under-19 level, too.

Leo made his first senior appearance against Newcastle United on our post-season tour of Australia in the summer of 2024 before playing regularly for our Under-21s in 2024/25.
