London-born Yusuf Amhamrich was brought up in Tower Hamlets and usually operates on the left, primarily as an attacking midfielder but also sometimes at left-back.

He went to Morpeth School in Bethnal Green and contributed a superb 25 goals for our Under-16s in 2021/22.

During the 2022/23 season, his first as a full-time scholar, he helped us win the Under-17 and Under-18 Premier League Cup double.

A Morocco Under-20 international, Yusuf featured briefly for our Under-21s during their Premier League 2 title-winning campaign in 2023/24 and signed his first professional contract in early-2024 before stepping up to Under-21 level on a full-time basis in 2024/25.

In November, 2024, he scored a hat-trick in a 6-1 home win over Middlesbrough, contributing to him being shortlisted for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
